Dealing with Your Bad Habits!
flipboard.com |
To change your habits is not just an overnight process. This is what I've learned when I dealt with and continue to deal with my painstaking habits.
I hate to be late. But it seems that I love doing it because until now, I do almost all of my jobs the same. When deadline comes, that would be the time I move. If I perceive that the job is just easy, then I just had to do some things which are not related to it but they can delay its accomplishment. Mostly, though it was so easy, I couldn't. Sometimes I could. But what about its quality? It depends upon the one whom it may concern.
It's not a simple one to do your works on deadlines, you become irritable, you get sweat, you easily get angry when somebody disturbs you while doing your job. You don't want to be bothered! You hate all the people around you, including your pets. Even worse, your self. You want to punch your face. You don't want to eat. You punish your self. But the impact of what you experience, still the same, no impact! Because you were successful in doing it! You have submitted it. Though it's late but at least, you did and smiled! That's what you always think! And forget what you've been through in doing jobs on deadline. You almost killed those that disturbed you because of your habit! Hehehe! But after all, nothing happens! Change didn't happen! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

Anyway, when I work in a government school, I learn a lot. I learn how to do my job ahead of time, a little bit. Just a bit! But I have to persevere! For now, I am not almost all the time the last person to pass my reports to the principal! I'm one step faster than what I was before! Praise God for helping me for what He wants me to be! 'One day at a time!' And I know there are still many habits that I may overcome and I have to!
